Hello,
I'm Becky. This is really my husband's idea,
and I don't do much on the Internet at all.
My husband runs several companies, one of them is called BECamation.
It is a web hosting-design company that specailizes in Web Design,
Graphic Design and Web Hosting. He also runs two others, 3DCommune
and A1HostCo.
I
was employed at South
Western Michigan College in the Financial Aid Department.
I am currently disabled due to my MS. I wanted to send out a
personal thank you to all of those who sponsored us for the
MS Walks we have done..
I
was employed at SMC for 10 years and before that I worked at
the
Woodwind and
Brasswind where I met Mark, my husband.
Now I am disabled by the MS and am at home full time.
I
myself am not as well versed with the net as my husband is but
his work is with the Internet and Servers anyway.
He handles all of the technical stuff I used to help him take
care of the business end. Now days I spent my time in the yard
when I can and am feeling well enough to.
I
was diagnosed with Multiple Scleroses in 2001 and I've been
on Avonex for about 5 years then switched to Rebif
for a year. Currently I'm about to start a new medication called
Tysabri which is a new med that is supposed to work wonders.
Problem is that the drug company that produces it actually pulled
the product last year on thier own because of three deaths in
clinical trials. Now that it's back on the market and pretty
safe (according to many) I'm going to start it in June of 2007.
It's a once a month infusion instead of weekly or every other
day shots.
Mark used to give me my shots but now
since this a new thing and once a month it's going to be done
at the hospital. I am hoping that I will go into complete remission
and be able to live out my life with Mark and my family for
a long time to come. I would just like to say thank you to all
the kind people that have given me and the family all the support
and love they can give.
This
photo is me sitting on a bench in a park on a beautiful
sunny day. We can't go anywhere without Mark taking
the camera with him. :^) You can't really tell I have
a disease like MS by seeing me, MS is a horrible invisible
disease. You
can learn more about MS here.
I
swear he's always taking pictures. Sometimes he drives
me crazy with it but I do suppose that it is nice to
have pictures where we can remember certain times and
places we've gone.
Click
on the small pictures for a large image, watch for more
pictures soon.
