Why the Corona crisis has given 3D printing technology a boost

"Our mission is to reinvent manufacturing. We want to deploy the Digital Forge in 100,000 factories by 2025," says Lutz Feldmann of Markforged.

In this interview with Axel Höpner from Handelsblatt, Lutz Feldmann discusses the effects of the Corona pandemic and explains why the Corona crisis has given a boost to 3D printing technology.

The industry has proven that the technology enables fast, local, and flexible action. Additive manufacturing has thus "proven itself for far more in the future than just prototype construction or small series," said EOS CEO Marie Langer.
