The Mark Two 3D printer for highly stable components
You will have the opportunity to see the Mark Two 3D printer live on site. The Mark Two is unique on the market because it prints composite materials: The outer contours are printed in nylon/PA6 material, and the interior of the component is covered with continuous carbon fibers, Kevlar®, or glass fibers. This enables functional parts, tools, and fixtures to be 3D printed that have a better strength-to-weight ratio than 6061-T6 aluminum. In addition, numerous sample parts are on site so that the printed results can be seen firsthand. "Markforged offers the right printer and the right material for every application, whether it's prototypes, small series, or functional parts. Markforged has reorganized and further expanded its product range this year, ensuring that the portfolio has the right solution for every need," explains Joachim Kasemann, Head of Sales at Mark3D GmbH.
A special highlight awaits visitors at the Gladbeck Technology Center: The Mark X 3D printer represents a breakthrough in quality and precision. Laser-assisted build process control allows the print layers to be scanned during the printing process to ensure that all specifications are met.
SOLIDWORKS for printable STL files
However, good results require more than just high-quality 3D printers. Error-free STL files are also crucial. That's why our partner COFFEE will be on-site. The SOLIDWORKS reseller's staff are design experts and will be happy to explain how to create printable 3D components (STL files) to ensure you get the best results from Markforged 3D printers.
