Mark3D GmbH will be presenting the Metal X 3D metal printer for the first time at the Hannover Messe. Visitors have the opportunity to view the Metal X and the Mark X in person at the booth of partner Dassault Systèmes in Hall 6, Stand K30. At the Altair booth in Hall 6, Stand L17, Mark3D will present the Mark Two composite 3D printer for lightweight, highly stable components.

Mark3D GmbH will be presenting its Metal X 3D metal printer live for the first time at the Hannover Messe. Also on display will be the Mark X, which combines the advantages of Markforged's unique fiber reinforcement with laser-assisted build process control, producing precise, highly stable components with a perfect surface.

Metal X for metal components

The Metal X celebrates its premiere at the Hannover Messe. The 3D metal printer relies on a completely new technology called ADAM – Atomic Diffusion Additive Manufacturing. This process is revolutionary because the metal is embedded in a polymer, eliminating the need for toxic metal dust during printing. The subsequent sintering process creates a component of enormous strength, with material properties comparable to cast parts. Thanks to ADAM, even special geometries such as closed honeycomb structures can be produced. The model no longer needs to be adapted to the limitations of subtractive manufacturing, giving the designer maximum design freedom. Stainless steel, titanium, tool steel, Inconel, and aluminum are available as materials.

Mark X for precise, industrial-grade components

Through the combination of the unique material Onyx and a printed layer height of 50 μm, the components from the Mark X a perfect surface and resemble injection-molded components. Thanks to an integrated laser, selected print layers can be scanned during the printing process to ensure all requirements are met. This makes manufacturing with the Mark X highly reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.

Mark Two for highly stable components directly on the desk

At the booth of partner Altair in Hall 6, Stand L17, Mark3D will also present the composite 3D printer Mark TwoThe Mark Two produces functional parts by combining nylon/PA6 with continuous fibers. Perfect for the production of jigs, tools, templates, assembly aids, or construction samples. The use of composite materials gives the components enormous strength and can replace many aluminum parts, saving costs and weight.
