Review: Additive Manufacturing Technology Day in Hamburg with Autoliv!
We look back with gratitude on a great event in Hamburg-Stillhorn and thank all participants.
Around 50 participants learned the latest information about Markforged 3D printers. The day began with snacks, coffee, and drinks, and a relaxed welcome. After a brief introduction to Mark3D by Joachim Kasemann, Dario Popovic gave a brief presentation on Markforged. He explained the vision behind Markforged.
Immediately following, Étienne Luimes presented Markforged composite and metal 3D printing technology, including numerous practical applications. An entertaining, interactive presentation with close interaction with the audience brought this innovative technology to life.
During a short break with snacks and drinks, intensive discussions and exchange of experiences took place.
Then Jan Geese, Chief Application Engineer at Mark3D, began by introducing the new Markforged FX20. Bigger. Faster. More materials. The printer prints significantly faster than previous Markforged machines. The components from the latest generation of industrial 3D printer were noticeably impressive.
Immediately following, Mr. Jabusch from Autoliv delivered a practical report on mechanically and thermally resilient components in practice. Tested under real-world conditions, components with up to 200 hours of printing time emerge from the 3D printers without any problems. Mr. Jabusch patiently answered all of the audience's questions.
The final point was a presentation of the Eiger software, again by Jan Geese. He demonstrated the simple plug-and-play process from design to starting printing.
At the end, intensive discussions could be held and questions could be asked.
We look forward to further discussions and are pleased to take additive manufacturing to the next level in your company.
