World first – The first industrial 3D printer for composite materials and metals

With the Metal Kit launched in August, the FX10 received a major upgrade.

This allows the FX10 to switch between printing composite materials and printing metal filaments, opening up entirely new possibilities – including the equally new material 316L stainless steelThe FX10 prints composite materials by default. Metal printing is possible with an optional expansion kit compatible with all FX10 printers.

After printing the components, the same post-processing process follows as with the existing metal 3D printer Metal X: After printing, the components must be debound and sintered until the component is finally ready for use.

  • Automatic material management: Up to four spools can be stored in sealed compartments and changed automatically, enabling continuous 3D printing with minimal user effort.
  • Vision module and laser micrometerTwo sensors monitor the printer's dimensional accuracy and calibration to ensure consistent quality. The vision module captures detailed images of the printed parts to optimize performance.
  • Large 7-inch touchscreen: An intuitive user interface allows easy monitoring and control of the machine.
