Description

The onyxFilament material is the heart of all Markforged 3D printers. It's a beautiful black filament made of durable PA6 with micro-carbon fibers. This results in stiff and dimensionally stable parts that are 1.4 times stiffer than ABS thermoplastics, for example. The parts achieve a high surface quality and heat tolerance.

With onyx You can print truly mechanically and thermally resilient components that, combined with continuous carbon fiber, achieve the strength of aluminum! Components made from the Markforged Onyx make an immediate difference for every mechanical engineer. The onyx Filament gives you stiff and dimensionally stable parts, with twice the strength of other 3D printer plastics. Onyx parts have a high surface quality and high heat resistance.
