The addition of short fibers further improves wear resistance.<\/td><td class=\"column-4\">Continuous fibers increase the resistance of parts, so that they deform much later.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr class=\"row-5\">\n\t<td class=\"column-1\"><br>Durability, wear and tear<\/br><\/td><td class=\"column-2\">The ability of a material to resist the gradual removal or deformation of surface material by friction<\/td><td class=\"column-3\">Short fibers increase the abrasion resistance of the polymers, so they last longer in abrasive environments.<\/td><td class=\"column-4\">The fiber is only exposed when the outer surface of a piece is worn through - in extreme cases, it can even provide abrasion resistance when exposed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr class=\"row-6\">\n\t<td class=\"column-1\"><br>accuracy<\/br><\/td><td class=\"column-2\">How close a part is to the toleranced dimensions -
