Walk A Mile in my Paws and SWITCH is a book that addresses a controversial issue transgenderism. This is a non-threatening approach that gently leads the reader to the idea of not making a life altering decision before they're old enough to understand the consequences. It's a compelling story of a FuFu, princess, Maltese, dog, named Daisy, and a tough, feral hunting cat named panther. These two whimsical characters are jealous of each other, each believing that the other has a better life. Daisy sees panther as footloose and fancy free, able to roam the streets and be independent, while she is encumbered by a leash and has no control over her life. Panther on the other hand is tired of hunting rats and longs to be pampered and spoiled. He desires a closer relationship with the family and wants to go on vacation to Mexico with them. A magical transformation catapults them on an exciting journey. Both these zany characters face unexpected dangers and life threatening altercations.
