Onyx Series

Reliable printed components on every Engineers desk

Markforged’s new Onyx 3D printers are designed to give every engineer access to strong parts made from Onyx or Fibreglass. Accordingly, every Markforged component – whether hardware, software or the material – offers a reliable, unique 3D printing experience. So why don’t you let yourself be inspired by the Onyx series.

Onyx is a 3D printing material with integrated chopped carbon fibre. Many engineers start with a Onyx One printer and create components for a wide range of applications in this material. Nonetheless, your needs might change, so it is possible to upgrade your machine to the Onyx Pro and run with fibreglass as a composite material too.

Print with Onyx

Because Onyx is made of nylon and contains chopped carbon fibres it’s tough. It is for this reason that it achieves 3.5 times more stability compared to nylon. In addition it has an excellent surface finish too.

Production-oriented 3D printer management

Highly stable 3D printed components designed for industrial applications require innovative and intelligent software. It is for this reason that Eiger is easy to use and allows you to easily control the stability and quality of your prints. With a cloud version shipped with every machine Eiger offers you the benefits automatically improving functionality through seamless updates.

Turbo Print (BETA)

In association with Eiger, turbo-print is another benefit for all Markforged Onyx customers. Another key development by Markforged means it is possible to combine the innovation in material quality with intuitive software. When speed is critical it is equally important to print the parts you want without sacrificing surface quality.
