Unlock metal 3D printing for your Markforged FX10 with the Markforged FX10 Metal Upgrade Kit. With this optional upgrade, the FX10 printer can 3D print metal filaments such as 17-4 PH Stainless Steel V2 and 316L, with more metal materials scheduled for release. The printed metal parts can then be post-processed with the Markforged Wash-1 and Sinter-1 or Sinter-2. Alternatively, we are also happy to put you in touch with service providers who can take care of post-processing.

The switch between metal and composite printing is seamless, taking only 15 minutes and a short calibration print. Fully compatible with Markforged software, and with a selection of manufacturing grade materials, the FX10 is one of the best and highest quality 3D printers available in the world.

Included in the FX10 Metal Kit:

Metal print head: Switches with the composite print head, which is included in the FX10 as standard.

Material tubes: Metal-specific tubes.

Material guide block: Tailor-made for metal materials.

Dual pre-extruders: Installed when you receive the kit to ensure compatibility with both composite and metal.

Easy Installation

The modular design of the FX10 simplifies the upgrade process. Changing components such as the print head and routing block takes about 15 minutes, plus an hour for calibration. Users can easily do this without external help.
